ABOUT THE ARTIST

At an early age it was clear that Paul was wired for creativity. Paul’s diverse and dynamic skill-set is due to his willingness to tackle new creative challenges. From drawing high school teachers, sporting stars and painting murals, to experimenting with digital artwork and animation, Paul has developed a unique ability to engage with people through his artwork.

Paul completed his high school work placement in the studio of leading AFL artist, Jamie Cooper, which launched him into producing sporting portraits for the Richmond Tigers and Brisbane Lions Football Clubs. This led Paul to complete commissions for Australian sporting icons and entertain guests at events doing caricature art.

In 2009, Paul ventured into the animation world and worked on multiple children’s television shows, working in the largest studio in Melbourne. It was there where Paul enlarged his ability to work professionally with quick project turnarounds.

From animation, Paul moved into a role as a designer in one of Australia’s leading advertising agencies. There, Paul worked extensively on creating television commercials all the way through to corporate branding and digital media.

Paul has since been working as a graphic facilitator in conferences around Melbourne. His creative versatility and eagerness to explore his craft through new technology has given his work an exciting edge and a very creative point of difference.

As a public speaker himself, Paul not only has a grasp on creatively presenting artwork but also on presenting dynamic and visual presentations that engage audiences and leave audiences talking.

In 2019, Paul completed an oil portrait of Tim Costello which was entered into the Archibald Art Prize in Sydney, Australia. His passion to explore different mediums and styles sets him a part from his peers.
